Machine to Machine communication (M2M)
M2M is the new business opportunity in wireless! M2M is not about technology; it's about business processes.
Forrester Research: "There will be more invisibly connected machines and physical objects than visible humans from 2005 onward."
Gartner Group: "By 2007, there will be between 100 million and 160 million machine-to-machine connections worldwide that use wireless mobile phone networks."
M2M technologies represent the most cost effective way of connecting devices – whether they be products, machines or sensors – to a global network, the Internet and processing the information from them. The reason for connecting them is to gain enormous benefit from the information continually being produced by them that would otherwise be lost. Such information is like ‘gold dust’, and offers the prospect of whole new revenue and profit streams for those who successfully put it to use.
Yirdis will be the number one Device Internet Service Provider in next few years.
